Top 10 Butterflies for Learn About Butterflies Day

By Patricia Streeter,

Spring is right around the corner. In some areas, flowers will bloom, snow will melt, and insects will be returning to claim the land once again. One of those returning insects is the butterfly.

There are many discovered species of butterfly. If you don’t know them by name, you can find them based on physical traits and native lands. Even with all of that information, it is difficult to narrow down specific butterflies. This is why butterfly identification can be a rewarding summer activity to stimulate the mind and spend time outdoors.

Though the day is celebrated in March, it is a good time to get a heard start on a new hobby. Spring is officially next week. Caterpillars will prepare to become butterflies. To celebrate, all you have to do is find a guide you like and get started. Don’t have one? Don’t worry. You can learn about 10 today!
