Top 10 Kid Cudi Songs

Known for his eccentric rap persona, Kid Cudi mixes conventional hip-hop with jazz, soul and even alternative rock influences to create an especially unique sound.

Originally from Ohio, Cudi, who was born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, dropped out of college and moved to Brooklyn, New York to pursue his dream of creating music.

After the debut of Cudi's mix tape, A Kid named Cudi in 2008, his song "Day 'N' Nite" hit No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, according to AceShowbiz. The release attracted fans to the point that Cudi signed with Kanye West's label, GOOD Music, later that year.

However, Cudi left GOOD Music in 2013 to focus on his own artistic goals. "It's not a bad thing. That don't mean I'm not gon' be making music without them. It just means that little baby with the dress on [the GOOD Music logo] ain't gon' be on the albums," he said in an interview with MTV.

Cudi has released three solo albums, including Man on the Moon: The End of Day in 2009, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager in 2010 and Indicud in 2013 as well as his surprise release of Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon, this year. These albums include chart-toppers including “Pursuit of Happiness”, “Just What I Am” and “Mr. Rager”.

Though Cudi has numerous hits, here are the top five greatest songs throughout his career thus far.
