Top Ten Metallica Songs

Metallica is one of the most iconic heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California. The band consists of founders James Hetfield, vocalist and rhythm guitarist and drummer Lars Ulrich, lead guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo who joined the group in 2003.

The band formed in 1981 when Hetfield responded to ad in the newspaper that Ulrich posted. Metallica is known for their aggressive, fast beat, and instrumental rhythm. The intensity of the bands music is taken to a higher level with the poetic and inspirational lyrics laced with it.

Metallica has had their highs and lows with loss, addiction, and members falling out of sync. Despite the bumps in the road Metallica is one of the most successful heavy metal group with nine studio albums.
