The 13th annual Tribeca Film Festival will host new independent films and A-list celebrities this April.
Boulevard will be a film to watch from the festival. The drama features Robin Williams and Katie Holmes. The directorial debut from Courtney Cox, Just Before I Go, will also be screened at this year's festival. According to the Associated Press, the festival also will feature notable films from other festivals, including Roman Polanski's Venus in Fur and Kelly Reichardt's Night Moves.
Fans can line up to see a romance penned by Joss Whedon called In Your Eyes. Every Secret Thing, a crime drama scripted by Enough Said director Nicole Holofcener, will be shown at the festival.
Films in the Spotlight category include Jon Favreau’s Chef and the John Lithgow-Alfred Molina film, Love is Strange, among others. Films in the Midnight category, as well as projects in Storyscapes, were announced. Storyscapes “showcase innovative and interactive transmedia work across genres,” according to The Wrap.
