Authorities have made a discovery in the three-year case of missing nursing student Holly Bobo from Tennessee in April of 2011.
Bobo’s neighbor Zachary Adams, 29, who has had prior domestic abuse charges against him, was formally charged with first degree murder and aggravated kidnapping.
According to NY Daily Mail, Bobo was last seen by her brother. She was walking with a strange man walking from her house.
Mark Gwyn, director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, said, "As this investigation continues, we are still asking for the public's help and support to help us continue to seek out justice regarding the disappearance of Holly Bobo,” according to CNN.
The nursing student’s family put out a $250,000 reward for any information pertaining to the whereabouts of their loved one. The family has been waiting for three years to know what happened to her.
Police searched Adams home and other locations a week before his arrest.
The 29-year-old is being held without bond.
