By Chelsea Lewis ,

The Academy of Country Music Awards has already sold out for next year. The award show sold out within minutes of tickets going on sale. This year's awards aired back on April 6.

Billboard reported that 70,000 tickets were available to the general public and the tickets sold out within 18 minutes. Tickets included admission to the awards and the ACM Party for a Cause. Both events will be taking place in Arlington, Texas.

Academy of Country Music CEO, Bob Romeo, released a statement following the impressive turnout and demand for tickets to these events and next year's award show. "This sale was unprecedented and far exceeded our expectations. We’re working hard to plan more events to accommodate as many fans as we can. Country music is alive and well in North Texas!”

The Tennessean added that Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will be hosting the awards again next year.

Sources close to the event said that more tickets will be available as production moves forward with these events.
