The San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is reportedly being investigated for possible sexual assault on April 1 in a Miami, Fla. apartment.
According to TMZ, who first learned of the news, a woman filed a report after partying with Kaepernick, 49ers' Quinton Patton and Seahawks' Ricardo Lockette, in the latter's residence.
The site notes that the police report says that she mixed drinks for them, but allegedly the football players told the woman "in order to drink the shots she had to 'hit' the bong which contained marijuana."
The report says the woman went to lie down after feeling lightheaded. Kaepernick reportedly followed her into the bedroom and began kissing her before starting to remove her clothing. The quarterback then reportedly left her in the room and never returned.
The last thing she remembers before waking up in a hospital bed was that Lockette and Patton looked in on her and she told them to leave.
She told police that she has had sex with Kaepernick in the past, but did not this time.
Fox Sports reports the 49ers released a statement noting they are aware of the "media report," but are still looking into it.
The investigation is reportedly still in the "beginning stages," but no charges have been filed.
