ABC has decided to pull promos of upcoming new drama series Black Box that feature Bryan Singer's name.
According to Deadline, the few promos that feature Singer's name have been pulled from circulation. The series is set to premiere next week and Singer served as an executive producer on the straight-to-series.
The show follows a brilliant and famous neuroscientist who is also bipolar. Black Box stars Kelly Reilly.
Depending on how the lawsuit proceeds, Singer's name could also not show up in promos for CBS' fall series Battle Creek. He directed the pilot episode.
As previously reported, Michael Egan claims that the X-Men: Days of Future Past sexually abused him when he was much younger and has filed a lawsuit.
Egan, who is now 30, said that Singer brought him to a mansion in California for a party where "sexual contact between adult males and the many teenage boys who were present" was known to happen. Singer allegedly promised him a role in the first X-Men movie.
He also said that he originally reported the assault to the Los Angeles Police Department, but nothing ever happened.
Marty Singer, the director's attorney, says the lawsuit is "absurd and defamatory."
