While on the promotion trail for The Amazing Spiderman 2, Andrew Garfield made a surprise cameo in the London play The Drowned Man.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Garfield appeared in the ensemble in the interactive play in an unannounced cameo on Tuesday, April 8.
The Drowned Man takes place in a four-story former office building near London's Paddington station, where the space has been refitted to resemble a 1960s Hollywood film studio. Lead characters play out a loose tragic love story set in the seedy studio. Garfield roamed about as part of the supporting cast who embellish and add sideline intrigues to the main narrative.
Garfield was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Surrey in Southern England. The 30-year-old started his career on the stage, even earning him a Tony nomination for his portrayal of Biff Loman in 2012’s Death of a Salesman.
The following day, the Daily Mail reported Garfield gave a rare treat to school kids at Kid City. The Brixton charity foundation giving out of school activities to kids age three to eleven, got a surprise visit from the wall-crawler himself, as Garfield showed up dressed in full Spiderman costume.
