Brian Williams was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Monday night, which gave Fallon an excuse to have his team assemble another rap mix. This time, they picked Snoop Dogg’s “Gin And Juice,” creating probably the funniest one yet.
As with previous raps, the mixes require no new recordings at all. Fallon’s team gathered single words from NBC Nightly News broadcasts to put together the track. It did require the help of other NBC reporters, like Natalie Morales, Richard Engel and Lester Holt.
This is the second Williams rap mix created since Fallon took over the Tonight Show. Previously, he had Williams sing “Rapper’s Delight,” which required extra help from Holt.
During the interview with Fallon, Williams said that these are all anyone talks to him about, notes E! News. Cuba Gooding Jr. came “up to me and says, 'You are a huge figure in the rap and hip-hop community,’” Williams recalled.
“People think I have somehow colluded into the making of these videos," Williams added. "Let's be clear...I've never said 'hippity.'"
Fallon has also had Williams rap “Straight Outta Compton” by NWA and Snoop’s first single, “Nuthin' But a 'G' Thang.”
