Daily Wrap of All Things for April 9: Disney Infinity, Rascal Flatts, and 'Game of Thrones'

By Samantha Ravenscroft,

Here’s our daily wrap of all things for Wednesday, April 9:

The Disney Infinity video game will now be adding Marvel characters to their story line. With Captain America: The Winter Solider doing so well in the box office since the movie was released on April 4, Disney will be making him one of the lead characters. Characters that are already part of the game include Jack Sparrow and Barbossa from Pirates of the Caribbean and Dash from The Incredibles.

Country band Rascal Flatts admitted to lip-syncing their performance at the ACM’s Sunday night. According to the band’s Twitter, band member Gary LeVox lost his voice due to earlier performances and didn’t want to cancel their Country Music Awards performance. Instead, they made the decision to lip sync, something they admitted to not being good at due to never having done it before.

Season 4 of HBO’s Game of Thrones brought in 8.2 million viewers during its season premiere Sunday night, and it’s no surprise that the show has been renewed for two more seasons. The news was announced on HBO’s Facebook page with the message, “Send a raven and spread the word across the realm.”
