The summer festival season is in full swing across the U.S. and another popular event has announced its headliners. The Taste of Chicago will feature the music of Jeff Tweedy, Nickel Creek and Janelle Monae.
Billboard reported that the event will be taking place at Grant Park along Lake Michigan on July 9 to 13. Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events announced the complete list of performers for the food festival.
Also featured as a performer during the festival include Aloe Blacc, the Wailers, AWOLNATION, Gary Clark Jr. and Parker Millsap.
Taste of Chicago is free to the public, but tickets for the seating area will go on sale on May 22. If fans wish to see the performers from the lawn, that is free for festival attendees.
The Huffington Post added that with the addition of musical headliners and celebrity chefs, last year was the first year that the festival turned a profit.
