Jeremy Renner, who is known his role in American Hustle and The Avengers, will be narrating a History channel three-night series that will be focusing on the two World Wars.
The series, called The World Wars, will tell the story of over three decades of war. The series will follow the stories of the likes of Franklin Roosevelt, Adolf Hitler, George Patton, Benito Mussolini, Winston Churchill and Douglas MacArthur. The show will focus on a timeline starting in 1914 and on until 1945 when World War II came to an end, Variety reported.
“The stories that came out of the world wars are heroic, horrific and everything in between. I’m happy to lend my voice to History and help tell these stories in a very different way," said Renner.
The World Wars is produced by Stephen David Entertainment for History, with David as executive producer. Also being brought on as executive producers are Paul Cabana and Elaine Frontain Bryant.
ComingSoon.net added that the three-part series will begin airing on the History channel on Memorial Day, May 26 at 9 p.m.
