The funeral for Peaches Geldof was held on Monday in the U.K. at the same church where she married and her mother was buried. Kate Moss, Bill Wyman and Jools Holland were just a few of the celebrities who turned out to pay their respect to Geldof.
Geldof was a television host and model. She was only 25 when she was found dead on April 7 at her home in Kent. The cause of death remains a mystery, even after an initial autopsy.
As the daughter of musician Bob Geldof, several celebrities turned out for the funeral at St Lawrence church in Kent, reports The Guardian. It is the same church where her parents married and where her mother, Paula Yates, was buried. She died in 2000 of a drug overdose.
Former Rolling Stones bassist Wyman, Moss, Nick Grimshaw, the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, singer Eliza Doolittle and actress Jaime Winstone were among the U.K. celebrities that turned out.
Geldof leaves behind her husband, musician Tom Cohen, and their two young children; Astala, 23 months, and Phaedra, 11 months. According to Metro, a painting of the family was featured on Geldof’s coffin.
“We loved her and will cherish her forever,” Bob Geldof said in a statement shortly after his daughter’s death.
