Peaches Geldof's autopsy deemed inconclusive, toxicology report will take a few more weeks

Peaches Geldof’s autopsy has been deemed inconclusive following her sudden death at the age of 25 on Monday, April 7. Geldof, the daughter of musician Bob Geldof, left behind two young sons and husband Tom Cohen.

UK police said on Wednesday that the reason behind Geldof’s death is still unknown, but toxicology reports will hopefully shed some light into her tragic death. Those results will likely take a few more weeks to come in.

According to CNN, Geldof’s unexpected death is being considered "as a non-suspicious, unexplained sudden death."

Geldof and Cohen have two sons, both under 2 years old. Her own mother, the late television presenter Paula Yates, died of a drug overdose when she was only 11 years old. The last post on her Twitter page is a link to an Instagram photo of the two. “Me and my mum,” she wrote.

Her father released a statement following her death, saying, "We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?"
