Peaches Geldof’s body has been released to her family following an autopsy that was ruled inconclusive. Funeral arrangements are now underway for the late 25-year-old mother of two.
The North West Kent coroner spokesman, Roger Hatch, told The BBC on Thursday, “We can confirm that the body has been released to the family for funeral arrangements to be made.”
People reports the TV presenter, columnist and model was found dead in her home on Monday. Police are treating the death as an “unexplained sudden death" with no foul play being involved.
While the autopsy results were deemed inconclusive earlier this week, the family is waiting for the results of the toxicology report.
Geldof, the daughter of musician Bob Geldof, left behind her husband, Tom Cohen, and their two sons; Astala, 23 months, and Phaedra, 11 months.
Geldof’s mother, Paula Yates, died when she was just 11 years old of a heroin overdose. The last photo she posted on social media was of herself with her late mother.
