Music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs has landed the number one spot on Forbes' list of Wealthiest Hip-Hop Artists.
The magazine reports that Diddy is richest artist in hip hop with an estimated fortune of $700 million.
A large portion of Diddy's fortune comes from his stake as a majority owner of Revolt TV, his new music channel. In a recent interview with Forbes, Diddy said that overseeing Revolt TV was his main focus. "Right now my focus is Revolt and making it the number one, most-trusted, most credible worldwide brand for music," the rapper said.
Earlier this year, Diddy expanded his empire by become a partner in DeLeon tequila. In January, The New York Post reported that Diddy became a partner in DeLeon Tequila and hopes to guide it to the same amount of success he has had with Ciroc vodka, which he is also a partner in.
"With Ciroc, we dated," Diddy said at the time. "Now with DeLeon, we’re married. This deal is way better. This makes me a true owner."
