Kurt Sutter pokes fun at season seven rumors

As fans eagerly await the arrival of Sons of Anarchy's seventh season, some can take solace in knowing just a bit of information about the new season.

Marilyn Manson will join the cast, reports Movieplot.

Rumors are circulating that season seven will take place during a flashback, weeks before Tara meets her death. Kurt Sutter is known for disliking flashbacks, so that would be a fascinating way to kick off the seventh season.

Sutter himself commented on the rumors by saying that news sources who have writers confirming flashback information “need to check their writing staff,” according to The Epoch Times.

Sutter isn’t one to repeat his work, especially without bigger things to look forward to.

The biggest storyline is question is how Jax will react once he’s aware that his mother Gemma killed his wife and the mother of his children. He could cut her out of his life, or he could take an eye for an eye, or a life for a life.

Maggie Siff, who plays Tara, may have said goodbye to Sons but welcomed a baby girl into life shortly after. Siff never watches herself act on TV but in the case of the season six finale, it was a personal and different story.

"I hate watching myself! I honestly don't often do it, but I did want to see that episode just because it was the finale, in more ways than one for me, and I thought it was important to watch it put together," Siff told The Hollywood Reporter.

September 2014 will mark the beginning of the seventh season, Marilyn Manson and all.
