The X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer has been accused by Michael Egan III, of forcible sexual abuse of a minor and is being sued in civil court over the allegations. It has now been announced that Oscar-nominated director Amy Berg has been working on her documentary which will focus on sexual abuse within Hollywood for the past two years, and that her documentary will include the allegations against Singer.
It has been alleged by Egan that fifteen years ago Singer forcibly raped him. Singer's attorney called the suit "absurd and defamatory.”
The Daily Mail broke the story and learned that Egan had been working with Berg for her upcoming documentary.
Berg, who is known for her Oscar nominated 2006 documentary Deliver Us From Evil, which focused on sex abuse in the Catholic Church, did not comment at the time to any outlet regarding if Egan would be featured on camera during the film, Variety added.
