50 Cent says a NYC cop pulled him over just to tell him how bad his first pitch at Citi Field was

By Gina DiFalco,

Rapper 50 Cent has been forced to defend his horrendous first pitch at Citi Field before the New York Mets played the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday, noting the ball slipped from his hands prematurely.

The pitch will likely go down as one of the worst in history, missing the plate by nearly 20 feet.

While on ABC’s Good Morning America this week, the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper explained, "It slipped! It slipped out of my hand. I'm not a professional pitcher, I make music.”

He even explained that a cop went out of his way to let him know just how bad the pitch was, Digital Spy reports.

"I actually got pulled over by New York City police, they pulled me over in my car, and he pulled me over and I said, 'I got my license, right?' Because I was a little nervous when he pulled me over. I was, like, 'Oh no, what did I do?' and then he said, 'You know that pitch was terrible.'"
