President Barack Obama went to support and visit the troops in Afghanistan in secret, with country music legend Brad Paisley joining him.

The Associated Press reported that Paisley was traveling with the president in order to do a special performance for the troops. He took to Twitter to make the announcement.

This was President Obama's fourth visit to Afghanistan as president, but his first since winning re-election in 2012.

The Tennessean added that Paisley already has a busy schedule. He has just signed on to judge the upcoming Rising Star, which debuts on June 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC. Nashville artists are two-thirds of the judging panel who will be featured as experts on the show.

Paisley is also about to head out on a nationwide tour. The "Country Nation World Tour" started in Philadelphia and the tour will be visiting more than 40 cities before it wraps up in Washington D.C. on Sept. 20.
