Tennis player Andy Murray and actor David Krumholtz are celebrating their birthdays today.

Andy Murray, 27

Scottish tennis player Andy Murray turns 27 today. Murray is currently ranked World No. 6 and British No. 1. He is the current holder of the Wimbledon Championships singles title, and is the 2012 Olympic tennis men's singles champion. At the 2012 US Open, Murray became the first British player since 1977 to win a Grand Slam singles tournament. This title makes him the only British male to become a Grand Slam singles champion during the Open Era.

In July 2013, Murray won the 2013 Wimbledon Championships, becoming the first British man to do so in 77 years. Murray was voted the BBC Sports Personality of the Year in December 2013. Murray faced Roger Federer at the 2012 Olympic Games, defeating him in straight sets to win the gold medal in the men's singles final, becoming the first British singles champion in over 100 years. He also won a silver medal in 2012 mixed doubles, playing with Laura Robson. Murray is the only man in history to have won Olympic Gold and the US Open in the same calendar year.

Murray is in a relationship with Kim Sears, daughter of coach Nigel Sears, who is regularly seen attending his matches.
