Clive Owen is now set to join the upcoming Maggie's Plan, which is being billed as a romantic comedy. The cast already includes Greta Gerwig and Julianne Moore.
Variety reported that Rebecca Miller will be helming the upcoming romantic film.
Miller is known for her work on The Private Lives of Pippa Lee which featured Robin Wright in the lead role and her debut with Angela back in 1995.
Protagonist Pictures is currently selling the international rights to the movie at the current Cannes festival. The North American rights have already been sold to CAA and Cinetic and they are also handling the financing of the film.
Oscar nominated Owen will be playing the character of John in Maggie's Plan who is caught in the middle of a love triangle.
The Wrap added that Owen can also be seen in the upcoming The Knick, which is a television drama series that will be directed by Steven Soderbergh. This is the first time that Soderbergh will be directing for the small screen.
