Here's our daily wrap for Friday, May 23.

Victoria’s Secret Angel, Candice Swanepoel, has landed the top spot of Maxim Magazine’s 2014 Hot 100 list. The VS bombshell is joined in the top 10 by Scarlett Johansson, Katy Perry, Irina Shayk, Jennifer Lawrence, Zooey Deschanel, Alessandra Ambrosio, Jessica Alba, Mila Kunis and Cara Delevigne. The 25-year-old South African model celebrated the news via Twitter.

Angela Bassett has announced she will direct an upcoming Lifetime TV movie that surrounds the story of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s relationship. In a statement, Lifetime said the movie will focus on the couple's journey together as well as Houston’s rise to stardom. Bassett worked with Houston in the past on Waiting to Exhale and will make her directorial debut with this film.

Indianapolis Colts owner, Jim Irsay, has been officially charged with two counts of impaired driving. Irsay was previously arrested on March 16 after failing a sobriety test.The 54-year-old owner originally faced four possible felony counts of possession, but was only charged with the two misdemeanor counts on Friday.

Marvel and Edgar Wright, director of Shaun of the Dead, have announced a split over creative differences. In a statement, Marvel said the director and studio had different ideas in their vision of the film, Ant-Man. The news comes as a surprise after Wright just recently shared his enthusiasm over the project.

After being banned from the NBA, Clippers owner, Donald Sterling, has decided to hand over ownership of the team to his wife, Shelly Sterling. Sterling was banned from the NBA after racist remarks, made to his alleged girlfriend, V. Stiviano, were leaked.
