Daily Wrap of All Things for May 4: Floyd Mayweather, Naya Rivera and PayPal

By Gina Masilotti,

Here’s our daily wrap for Sunday, May 4:

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. won again last night during his fight against Maidana. Mayweather has a perfect career, with a record of 46-0, 26 KOs. Mayweather landed 230 punches on Maidana, while Maidana only had 221. Very rarely do Mayweather’s fights take very long, but last night the battle was an all-out battle. After the fight, Mayweather said, “Normally I box and move. Tonight, I gave fans an exciting fight.” He was escorted into the boxing ring by none other than Justin Bieber and Lil’ Wayne.

Rumors have been constantly going around about Naya Rivera and her future on the show Glee, but Fox has finally confirmed that the singer has not been fired. Her representatives released a statement saying, “Any reports or rumors circulating that Naya Rivera was let go or fired from Glee are absolutely untrue. End of story.” And then, Fox released their own official statement saying that she will remain on the show and that she remains under contract.

Rakest Agrawal, who’s the Director of Strategy at PayPal, went on a drunken Twitter rampage about many of his co-workers. One particular tweet about the Vice President of Global Communications was calling her a “piece of s**t” and a “useless middle manager.” All of the posts were deleted, but BuzzFeed was able to capture some before they were taken down. PayPal quickly fired Agrawal, and announced the news on Twitter.
