It was recently announced that Joaquin Phoenix would be joining Woody Allen's next project and now The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star, Emma Stone, is joining as well.
Variety reports that even though the film is currently untitled, it has been predicted that Allen will be producing, writing and directing the project. This is a very normal style for Allen who normally takes control of all aspects of his projects.
Magic in The Moonlight is the current working title of the film. The story will focus on an Englishman who is trying to deal with what could be a con taking place during the 1920s in the south of France, Deadline added.
Allen is known for his complex and unique scripts. His latest film, Blue Jasmine, featured Cate Blanchett, who won an Oscar for her role in the film.
Stone can currently be seen opposite her real life boyfriend, Andrew Garfield, in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in the iconic role of Gwen Stacey. On opening weekend the film grossed over $92 million domestically at the box office.
