Fashion's biggest night of the year has found their main entertainer for the evening - none other than R&B artist, Frank Ocean.
The New York Post first reported that Anna Wintour may have extended the invite to the rapper to perform at the black tie gala.
This event has hosted R&B artists and rappers before, as last year Kanye West performed during the gala. Frank Ocean also attended the event last year and walked the red carpet.
Ocean's rep has not yet confirmed that the "Thinkin' Bout You" singer will be performing this year, Billboard reported.
This year's event will feature some of the biggest stars in the industry right now including; Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o who will be wearing Prada; Zoe Saldana in Prabal Gurung; Amanda Seyfried in Givenchy and Margot Robbie and Olivia Munn in Diane von Furstenberg. This year's gala has been made into a theme ball, the event is being called "Charles James: Beyond Fashion."
Charles James is known as one of the first first couturiers in America. He was known for how he would cut his fabric and structure the pieces in a way that was not done back in the early 1900s.
