With the news circulating about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s big wedding day on May 24, there was no shock that the spoofs of their wedding would start to surface. It was New York Sports club’s recent print ad that had people surprisingly stunned, as the advertisement poked fun at the newlyweds in a more direct way than you would think.
Although it specifically reaches out to West, suggesting that he should stay in shape throughout his marriage, it takes a jab at Kardashian as well, noting her prior marriage to Kris Humphries that lasted merely 72 days. “Last longer than a Hollywood marriage,” it read.
The ad was first spotted by Wall Street Journal tech writer Katie Rosman and shared via Twitter earlier today.

According to ABC News, Lisa Hufcut of Town Sports International says the advertisement is part of campaign in which TSI uses big news, celebrity-driven or not, to promote a healthy lifestyle.
It isn’t the first time the fitness chain has poked fun at celebrities. Some notable advertisements include Anthony Weiner, Paula Deen and Lebron James.
