Iggy Azaela had her first embarrassing live television moment on Tuesday night during her performance of “Fancy” on the Season 18 finale of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
The rapper started her first line a bit too early and failed to get back into the song after trying a few times. She told the crowd, “I’m so sorry, but there’s something wrong with my ear.”
Following the incident, Azaela took to Twitter to clear up what happened and didn’t seem to be too hard on herself for the blunder.
“Iam so sorry guys! My in ears messed up and I couldn't hear the track. The dramas of live TV. Sh-t happens. Still really enjoyed it,” she wrote.
MTV News reports by the line, “Taking all the liquor straight, never chase that,” Azaela was right back on track and finished out the performance strongly.
Azaela performed during the prom-themed finale, which saw Maksim Chemerkovskiy and his partner Meryl Davis taking home the mirror ball trophy.
