The two-day event has become more than just a concert. The festival also has a many chances for fans to interact with the musicians, including meet-and-greets, photo opportunities and autograph signings for fans in attendance.

KCON first started back in 2012 as a one-day event. The festival featured six K-pop acts including 4Minute, B.A.P and EXO-M.
