The lineup for the 2014 LouFest in St. Louis has been announced and features some major names in the music industry including Outkast, Cake and the Arctic Monkeys.
Billboard reported that this year's lineup for the two-day festival will feature 40 bands. The festival is scheduled for Sept. 6-7 at Forest Park's Central Field.
This will be the fifth year in a row that the festival will be taking place and over 30,000 people are expected to attend. This year will also feature a fourth stage and the most bands yet to play the festival.
The LouFest lineup will also include performances from Matt & Kim; Portugal. The Man; Future Islands; Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue; Kelis; Washed Out; RAC; and Delta Spirit, among others, CBS St. Louis added.
This year's festival will showcase some local talent from the St. Louis area. Well-known local bands Old Salt Union, indie rockers Pretty Little Empire, and the funk-soul outfit Big Brother Thunder and The Master Blasters, will all be featured.
It comes as no surprise that Outkast will be once again playing another festival. They have already been billed as major headliners at some of the top festivals around the world this summer.
