Man arrested for groping women while posing as palm reader

Authorities said a Florida man was arrested after he allegedly groped women in shopping plazas while posing as a palm reader.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, on Monday, Zulfikar Jaffer approached one woman in a Walmart parking lot and asked to give her a reading. However, the woman told police that he allegedly fondled her.

"He, like, reached down my shirt," she said to the 911 operator.

ClickOrlando noted that Jaffer allegedly approached another woman Thursday in the same parking lot and, instead of giving her a reading, allegedly ran his hand down the front of her shirt.

Upon questioning, the alleged groper said that he did not touch the women’s breasts intentionally and was only trying to feel their heartbeats.

The 52-year-old was charged with two counts of battery for the alleged incidents and sent to a correctional facility.

Since his arrest, other women have come forward and said that they too were allegedly groped by the supposed palm reader.
