The Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has now become a great-grandfather. His 21-year-old granddaughter Assis has given birth to her daughter Jade.
Assis spoke out about Jagger during a recent interview and said that he was very proud of her and was excited about his great-granddaughter, The Hollywood Reporter reports.
"I imagine it's nice to be a great-granddad, although I'm not sure he likes the idea of getting old, or being called one. I call him Mick -- I wouldn't start calling him Grandpa," said Assis.
CBS News added that this is the first child for Assis and her boyfriend; the name of the child has yet to be released.
This news follows two months after Jagger's longtime girlfriend of over a decade, L'Wren Scott committed suicide in New York.
After the tragedy took place, The Rolling Stones put their worldwide tour on hold. The group is now looking to get the tour back on schedule which is set to resume May 26 in Oslo, Norway.
