Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger remembered his longtime girlfriend L’Wren Scott at a private memorial for the successful fashion designer in Manhattan. Other celebrities also attended the service.
Scott committed suicide in March. She was 49-years-old.
According to E! News, the service at St. Bartholomew's Church attracted Sarah Jessica Parker, André Leon Talley and Ellen Barkin. The Daily Mail also noted that Jagger’s daughter, Georgia May Jagger was there, as was model Karlie Kloss, Vogue’s Anna Wintour and Julianne Moore also attended the ceremony.
A rep for Jagger said that he sang Bob Dylan’s “Just Like A Woman” in tribute to his late girlfriend. R&B singer Lisa Fischer also performed “Amazing Grace.” Rev. Lynn C. Sanders officiated the service.
The Rolling Stones decided to postpone their Australian tour after Scott’s death. They will resume performing on May 26 in Oslo to re-start their 14 on Fire Tour.
A private funeral for Scott was held in Los Angeles in March.
