Miranda Lambert leads nominees for CMT Music Awards

The CMT music awards have announced the nominees for this year's ceremony and leading the group is country female superstar, Miranda Lambert. Lambert is the most nominated artist this year with six nominations.

Billboard reported that two of those nominations come from Lambert's independent work, the other four are with Keith Urban for their single "We Were Us" and with the female country group Pistol Annies.

Coming in second place for the most nominations was a tie between Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan, who each scored five nominations. Taylor Swift and Keith Urban received four nominations.

The awards, which are set to take place at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, will be shown live this year on June 4 at 8 p.m, CMT added.

Fans can vote for who they think should win the awards at CMT.com, the window for voting will close on June 1 at midnight. For fans who are looking to attend the show in person, general admission tickets will be available starting on Saturday May 10, at 11 a.m.
