Patrick Kane and Chicago Blackhawks force game 7

Down 3-1 against the Los Angelis Kings, the Chicago Blackhawks have won two games in a row to send the Western Conference Finals to game 7. Making and possibly winning the Stanley Cup Finals this year would solidify the Blackhawks as Hockey’s newest dynasty. With every dynasty comes the ultimate superstar – Patrick Kane.

Things looked grim for the Blackhawks near the end of game 6. The Kings ahead 3-2, Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane made a beautiful backhanded pass to Duncan Keith who scored the game-tying goal with 8:26 left to play. Nearly five minutes later Kane took it upon himself to score the game winning goal on a quick snap shot with 3:45 left in the game via Yahoo.

This post-season Kane has totaled 18 points – 8 goals, 10 assists – including four game winning goals and two overtime goals. Having similar numbers throughout last year’s playoffs, including having won two Stanley Cups in four years, Patrick Kane is making his bid to become the best American born hockey player in history.

"I think it was what we allowed 88 to do in the third period," Brown said, noting Kane's number. "You give him time and space and he's going to make plays and that's what he did. So that's on us” According to LATimes.
