Pitbull, who is known for his dance hits and club beats, will be taking his partying lifestyle to televisions everywhere as the "Feel This Moment" singer has been named to host Fox's New Year's Eve party.
The event will kick off on 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve and will feature Pitbull broadcasting live from Miami. He will be performing during the event and will be joined by other big name artists and DJs in the industry. The New Year's Eve bash will be called Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution. The party will air during a two-hour block and then will return post-news from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., The Hollywood Reporter added.
Pitbull released a statement about his New Year's Eve plans on Monday. "The world needs to get ready to un-mute New Year’s Eve, because we are taking the party from the Big Apple to the Pineapple. New Year's Eve is officially in Miami and hosted by yours truly, Mr. Worldwide. P.S. Whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but whatever happens in Miami never happened, Daleee!," said the "Timber" rapper.
The show will be produced by Pitbull’s production company, Honey I’m Home, in association with Endemol Live.
Fox's Executive Vice President of Alternative Entertainment Simon Andreae, expressed excitement about moving the party from a traditional New York City backdrop to the sandy beaches of Miami, Seattle Pi reported.
"We are thrilled he has chosen Fox as the home from which to launch his New Year's Reviolution. This event will be packed with chart-topping acts and can't-miss surprises. With Pitbull in charge, it's sure to be the hottest party on the planet," said Andreae.
