After being forced to take down photos of her topless magazine cover, it seems Rihanna’s Instagram account was deleted temporarily on Monday.
Considering the “Pour It Up” singer’s frequent Instagram activity and the nature of her posts, it didn’t take long for the internet to notice her account had been down. An “error” message appeared when users tried to click on her badgirlriri page.
However, all seems to be back to normal in the Instagram world again because the page is now up and running just fine.
MTV News reports there are two possibilities regarding the temporary suspension of the account – it was flagged for its X-rated content or she decided to suspend it on her own.
As we previously reported, the photos she posted of her Lui magazine cover were taken down due to their racy nature, but she found a quick fix to keep them up by posting them to Twitter instead.
She then poked fun at Instagram’s problem with the photos, which showed the singer’s nipples and nipple ring, by posting a meme of a very conservative Rihanna with the text “Rih’s next magazine cover if it was up to Instagram.”
