By Elise Gabriele,

Alternative rock band Rise Against announced on their Facebook page that they will be releasing their newest album in July 2014.

The group, from Chicago, Illinois, is led by frontman and vocalist Tim McIlrath. Other current members include Zach Blair on lead guitar and backing vocals; Joe Principe on bass guitar and backing vocals; and Brandon Barnes on drums and percussion.

The record out in July will be the first release since 2011’s Endgame aside from 2013’s Long Forgotten Songs album. That release consisted of B-Sides and cover songs performed by the band.

The Alternative Press stated that the upcoming album’s title or any additional information about it has been released besides that their new music is “coming soon.”

Rise Against is recognized for their advocacy of progressive organizations including Amnesty International and the It Gets Better Project. All members passionately promote animal rights, are PETA supporters and vegetarians.

The band will be performing at Jay Z's Made in America music festival on Aug. 30 and 31 in Los Angeles.
