Samuel L Jackson promotes free porn, angers porn community

Samuel L. Jackson’s recent comments he made during a press conference for Captain America: The Winter Soldier had incited anger from a group that usually keeps pretty quiet: the porn community.

During the conference, Jackson was asked the question of what modern pop culture innovation he would share with Steve Rodgers, the man behind the Captain America mask, as reported by UPI.

“Redtube,” was Jackson’s answer to the question. “It’s one of the best pop culture achievements of the last 50 years.”

Redtube is a free porn sharing site where, much like how many pirated videos end up on Youtube, porn videos appear on the site without paying royalties to the creators. TMZ reports that people in the porn industry are now rallying against Jackson’s comments and demanding an apology after seemingly promoting film piracy.

Several adult actors are even attempting to boycott Jackson’s own films. Adult actress Tanya Tate hopes Jackson will take back his comments, just in the hope to spread the message that piracy anywhere is illegal.

“I would gladly send a catalog of adult movies I have directed to Mr. Jackson if he would be so kind as to recant the comment,” said Tate. “I have a stack of porn for him to help him see the error of his ways.”
