Jennifer Lawrence first took to the screen in X-Men: First Class back in 2011, before she was known around the world for her Oscar winning work and her role as Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games universe.
Variety reported that online ticket site Fandango conducted a survey that asked if they were motivated to see the movie because of Lawrence's role as Mystique. Nearly three-quarters of ticket buyers said that they were motivated by Lawrence being in the film.
The study is small and the sample size was only 1,000 movie goers but it still shows that Lawrence is a box office draw in any role.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is already dominating the box office and the social media universe. Fandango has already reported that the film is responsible for more than 90 percent of its weekend pre-sales.
Forbes reported that the film has already made $36 million on Friday at the box office.
Days of Future Past also stars, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Ellen Page.
