Known from their days together at Saturday Night Live, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler use their witty humor in an upcoming all-star comedy jam airing on May 28 on Spike TV. Don Rickles, known for voicing Mr. Potato Head in the Toy Story franchise, will be the target of the roasting. These two funny women have hosted the Golden Globes multiple times together so they are no strangers to these types of television settings.
The roast will be called One Night Only: An All-Star Comedy Tribute to Don Rickles, according to
Spike. This roast will also include names such as Tracey Morgan, David Letterman, Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Stewart, Jimmy Kimmel, John Stamos, Bob Newhart, Regis Philbin, Ray Romano and Brad Garrett.
Fey announced her involvement with this upcoming event on Late Night With Seth Meyers reported by theHuffington Post. Fey and Poehler are a star-studded combination that feed off of each other very well. Not only do they have amazing on-screen chemistry, but these two comedians are known to be close friends off camera as well. An all-star comedy jam with these lovely ladies should be a jaw-dropping, laugh out loud spectacle.
