Top 10 NFL teams heading into the 2014 season

By Zach Levatino,

After the NFL Draft and the signing of countless free agents over the course of the off-season, every fan likes to think their team has developed into a Super Bowl caliber team. Many teams will be looking for revenge in their respective division, hoping to shake up the standing this upcoming season. However, there is one ultimate goal year in and year out – winning the Super Bowl.

The 2014 NFL season is set to begin on Sept. 4, 2014. It will be the 49th season since the creation of the Super Bowl in 1967. Now for owners, this may seem like a business, but for players and coaches, this is their chance at redemption.

Lovie Smith, longtime coach of the Chicago Bears, is back this year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after a full season out of the NFL. He will be looking for redemption.

Any player last season that went down early, or late with an injury, will be seeking a comeback. Every rookie out there is going to try and make a statement.

Year in and year out there are countless people trying to make an impact, but there is nothing sweeter than making the playoffs and winning the Super Bowl to prove that you’re the best.
