From a Neighbor to a Bridesmaid, Rose Byrne has been in many great movies. She’s played an aristocrat and a Google employee. The Australian has used her American accent and even a French one. She’s a shining star in films and television. With her new film, Neighbors releasing this weekend, it is a great time to look at Byrne’s career.
Byrne was born in Balmain, Australia, but then moved to the United States to pursue her acting career. Byrne’s first credit of acting is in the 1994 film, Dallas Doll, when she was 13-years-old. Since then, she has appeared alongside actors from Patrick Wilson to Nicolas Cage.
While Byrne has been great in films, she’s also been very talented on television as well. She appeared in the FX series, Damages, from 2007-2012. It is a legal drama that stars Byrne as Ellen Parsons, assistant to Patty Hewes (Glenn Close), a ruthless lawyer. The television series received critical acclaim and won multiple Emmys and Golden Globes.
