This week’s column has mostly comedy mixed with a touch of dramatic action for good measure.
Love, Rosie is about two best friends who are separated when one’s family moves away and they deal with their separation. Moms’ Night Out is about a group of mothers’ who band together for a night just for themselves away from their husbands and children and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is an science fiction action drama about a group of human survivors against a population of genetically enhanced apes and how the humans attempt to take back control.
All three movies have heavy star power and two of them are sure to have moviegoers grabbing their sides from all the laughter. The third is a much anticipated sequel that is sure to keep moviegoers on the edge of their seats with wicked special effects and emotional acting.
With such diverse plot lines, all three of these movies are sure to pack them in on their opening days.
