There was very little growth on Thursday night with the exception of Grey's Anatomy, while iHeartRadio Music Awards was soft, though for NBC it did decently enough.
CBS easily topped the night with a 2.2 in the 18-49 demographic and 9.43 million viewers. The Big Bang Theory was steady with a 4.4 demo rating, reports HitFix. The Millers and Two and a Half Men were both down, pulling in an identical demo number with a 2.1 rating. Bad Teacher fell in its second week to a 1.5 key rating. Elementary closed the night with a steady 1.6 in the demo.
iHeartRadio Music Awards pulled in a 1.7 in the demo and 5.4 million viewers, which isn't spectacular or especially strong, but is still an improvement upon how NBC normally fares on Thursday nights with its low-rated comedies.
ABC was right behind NBC with a 1.6 demo rating, but had the stronger average audience with 6.08 million viewers. A Grey's Anatomy encore lead into the new episode, which improved on the night with a 2.6 in the demo. Freshman series Black Box fell to a 1.3 demo rating.
Fox struggled with a 1.4 in the 18-49 demo and 4.93 million viewers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, American Idol fell to a new low of a 1.5 demo. Hell's Kitchen and Surviving Jack were both even on the night with a 1.6 and 1.0 demo rating, respectively.
The CW took in a 0.6 in the demo and 1.62 million viewers. The Vampire Diaries was steady with a 0.7 in the demo and Reign took in a 0.5 demo rating.
