Colt Ford’s new album, Thanks for Listening, is due in stores July 1.
This is the fifth studio album from the singer/rapper. Popular songs from the album include, “Cut Em All.” With a crossover to the television reality show, Duck Dynasty, the album features vocals from Willie Robertson. The song begins with a duck call and continues with things that define the American South.
Ford released a video later this year for “The High Life.” Chase Rice wrote and collaborated with Ford on the song, according to Taste of Country. The video featured men in a Nashville building before flashing a party scene at a club. It describes a life filled with football-watching, drinking, and late-night living.
In the past, Rice signed with Columbia Nashville. Rice also released four albums via Average Joes Entertainment. Rice climbed the country music charts with “Dirt Road Anthem” from his Ride Through the Country. Rice’s other albums include Chicken & Biscuits, Every Chance I Get, and Declaration of Independence. He was nominated for Vocal Event of Year, for the track “Cold Beer,” at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
