A tourist visiting Alcatraz claims to have captured a ghost while snapping pictures in the prison.
“From that point on I wasn’t interested in the Alcatraz tour anymore. I just kept looking at the picture over and over again,” said Sheila Sillery-Walsh.
Rice said that he was skeptical about ghosts before seeing this photo, but there is no other way to explain it. The picture has gotten plenty of other guests spooked, too!
Rice said, “When I first saw the photo, I tried to rationalize the female figure away by saying it was just Sheila's reflection.” Once he looked closer, he realized that the figure was wearing dated clothing and was certainly not his partner.
Alcatraz island is a destination that many people visit when visiting the United States. It served as a federal prison from 1934 to 1963 and today it is managed by the National Park Service. The prison has even been featured on SyFy’s Ghost Hunters.
Park officials deny any ghosts being present on the island, however, a few officials have revealed paranormal experiences, according to Daily Mail.
