Here's Our Daily Wrap for Friday, June 13

Iconic jazz singer, Jimmy Scott, passed away at the age of 88 in his Las Vegas home on Thursday. The cause of death has not yet been confirmed, but his biographer, David Ritz, delivered the news. Scott’s voice and style was an influence to many musicians like Madonna, who spoke out on the news stating he was the only jazz singer who could make her cry.

While celebrating her birthday, Queen Elizabeth II named Angelina Jolie an honorary dame for her campaign against wartime rape efforts. Jolie is in London for a summit with foreign secretary, William Hague hoping to fight against war rape.

Pitbull is creating a lot of buzz and not for his World Cup performance, but for his fashion choices. During his performance of “We Are One,” Mr. Worldwide danced around the stage in white capri pants. A buzzfeed list and Twitter commentary have already got the topic trending more than expected, but not surprising to Pitbull as he has retweeted an article on the topic.

After a six-year hiatus, Chris Rock has announced he will be going on a comedic tour starting this fall. This will be the first comedy tour since 2008 for Rock and will be named The Black Plague Tour, which was named by Kanye West.

Bill Murray photo bombed a couple during their engagement shoot on Friday in Charleston, South Carolina. Murray began making silly gestures at the couple while they posed for a photo when the photographer turned and realized it was Murray. He then joined Ashley Donald and Erik Rogers for a photo. This is not the first time Murray makes an appearance at a wedding event as he also crashed a bachelor party last month.
