'Frozen' tops weekly home video sales chart

Disney's animated feature Frozen is proving that it has the same staying power on home video that it did at the box office. The film is once again at the top of the weekly home video sales charts.

Home Media Magazine reported that Frozen has taken the top spot eight times on the chart since the film was released on DVD and Blue-ray almost three months ago.

Frozen has been unstoppable across all platforms including the soundtrack, box office sales and the film even continues to do well overseas in sales and at the box office.

The Wall Street Journal added that the film has already become one of the largest grossing animated films of all time for the country and it is now the third highest grossing film in Japan.

Frozen has made over $212 million at the Japanese box office to date.

Coming in second place on the charts was Sony Pictures' The Monuments Men which is a historical drama about a World War II mission that is set to rescue very rare art during the war.
